Brocard small (drive & survive)
Nestled in the peaceful woodlands of France’s Champagne region, Brocard Small is part of a complex created and managed by the renowned Bachelier fish-farming family. Alongside its sister lake, Brocard Large, this venue offers a truly tranquil retreat.
Despite being the smaller of the two lakes, Brocard Small still spans an impressive 29 acres. It is long and narrow in shape, where each of the four double swims are thoughtfully positioned to ensure privacy and solitude. You'll feel completely tucked away, immersed in the quiet of nature. It’s the perfect place to switch off and unwind.
And when it comes to fishing, things are refreshingly simple. The lake is home to a well-established stock of mature carp to over 50lb, as well as powerful catfish up to 110lb. These fish have thrived here for years, making for a rewarding and authentic angling experience. No fuss, no frills - just solid carp fishing and the kind of laid-back week that reminds you why you love it.
Swims are booked in advance at Brocard so you'll need to decide which swim you'd like when you book - you can find detailed descriptions of each swim under the 'lake' tab.
Thinking of booking this as a lake exclusive for your group? From August-November we recommend a maximum of 6 anglers – this is because summer water levels will begin to take place and up to 6 anglers still allows plenty of space and water for everyone even on the hottest years.
